Seeing A Red X
Seeing A Red X
Some members will see a Red X where a game should be running. This happens when a small piece of software provided by the game publisher is not installed. These little programs are called Active X controls. When you see a Red X you need to do the following to get the game running:
1) Close down your browsers (and the AOL client)
2) Open Windows Explorer and go to C:WINDOWSDownloaded Program Files
3) Find all non-Java labeled files
4) Right-click it and select "Remove" for each
5) Open up Internet Explorer or AOL and try to run the game again.
